Tru Guidry--a name given by his uncle because of he is an honest person-- is an underground rapper straight out of Phoenix, Arizona. He's been rapping since age ten and really got serious about becoming a rap sensation at age 15.

He gets into his zone by freestyling over a beat with his team before he starts writing future hit records. "I chewed the instrumental and I gave that," he states.

Now he is making music that gets people hyped by switching up his flows and by making each verse of every song sound different no matter the tempo of the beat.

Guidry is inspired by a lot of different rappers from newcomers to hip-hop veterans. "I'd have to say Tupac, Drake, Meek Mill, and 50 Cent.... due to the fact they all make good music and it's different from everybody and I fall in that category because I do the same," Guidry states.

The young emcee works hard to make sure that he is well promoted and gets people to jump on the Tru Guidry bandwagon. He's done 10-12 shows in his hometown and has two mixtapes out entitled "J. Guidry (The Mixtape) and "No Regrets" (The Mixtape).

According to Guidry, he is a one of a kind and is different from other rappers in the music game.  He states, "I'm so different, I don't just make music for what people want to hear, I also make my music whether people like it or not. I have my own sound and only a fan can point it out."

Guidry continues to grind in his music and is very open to collaborating with other underground Emcees as well as long as they are "on their A Game, Doing them and not trying to sound like the new rappers on TV," says Guidry.

When he gets a record deal he has many goals that he hopes to achieve. He has  dreams of collaborating with musicians such as Wale, Nicki Minaj, Mos Def, 50 Cent, Meek Mill, Drake as well as other rappers killing the hip hop game.  The future mogul wants to drop 10 albums, 15 mixtapes and step into the acting world as well.

Guidry plans to change the rap game by being true to himself and by not trying to mimic what other rappers do. The future rap star hopes to get rich by doing what he loves to do and to remain humble as an artist.

One thing that's safe to say about Guidry is that he will always "Do Him" that's the motto.
